Just in Time for Summer...

Sitting here while one of my kids is undergoing a medical treatment and being on the precipice of yet another medical unknown I’m pondering the season I am entering. We just finished school, glorious summer is before us, life is slowing down a bit from the hustle and bustle of the school year. A new season is beginning.
One thing life has taught me is that seasons come and go. They can change gently or abruptly without warning. Most of the time we move from one season to the next. Each season has something it brings to you and something you bring to it.
I am asking myself some questions today as we dive headlong into summer.
What do I want this summer to look like for me and my family?
What does my family need this summer?
What do I need out of this summer for my mind, body, and spirit?
These are all important questions to ask because if I want to make the most of out this season and soak up everything that summer brings I have to be intentional about it.
Summer and Life has a lot to offer me. I have to show up. I want to show up this summer even in midst of some unknowns with Energy, Joy, and Excitement each and every day.
Every day is beautiful gift waiting for you to show up and unwrap.
I will not let summer slip through my fingers like sand.
I'm planting my flag in the summer sand like I'm marking my place for all time.
I want summer to leave it's mark on us. I know I have to be intentional for this to happen. Gone are the days of just wandering through life hoping, waiting, and expecting for something to just happen. That's not how life work, and I wish someone would have told me that at 20.
Life is something you LIVE.
When you bring the Joy, the Energy, the Excitment, to this beautiful life .....
It sprinkles the pixie dust like glitter!
Ask yourself.....
What do I want this summer to look like for me and my family?
What does my family need this summer?
What do I need out of this summer for my mind, body, and spirit?
I have some new rhythms to life that I will be adopting this summer. I have priorities that have changed and I need to make that shift. That takes time.
I'm calling it my Summer Reset!
I'm resetting how I show up each and every day, what I prioritize, and what serves me and my family best.
